The Experience:

A 5hr jeep, trail and waterfall experience.

What we’ll Do

Starting at 10 AM, our adventure begins directly from your retreat at Agramada. We will board our 4x4 jeeps for an exhilarating 45-minute journey through the mountainous highlands of northern Halkidiki. This scenic drive takes us off the beaten path, winding through dense, untouched forests of oak, beech, and chestnut trees towards the picturesque area between the villages of Varvara and Olympiada. The final stretch of our drive is a thrilling descent down a rugged dirt road, leading us deep into a lush, hidden ravine.

Upon reaching the wooden gazebo at the trailhead, we will leave the vehicles behind and set off on foot. A short, enchanting hike will lead us along a shaded forest path, crossing charming wooden bridges. As the sounds of everyday life fade, they are replaced by the soothing roar of cascading water and the rustle of alders, lindens, and wild hazels. Our destination is the magnificent Varvara Waterfalls—a pair of hidden natural wonders where crystal-clear water tumbles over mossy rocks into serene, cool pools.

To complete the experience, we’ll set up a fresh picnic lunch right in this natural oasis, featuring local and seasonal ingredients prepared by us. It’s a perfect opportunity to dine, relax, and soak in the tranquil, fairy-tale atmosphere of the falls before we hike back to our jeeps for the scenic return drive to Agramada.
